Ethiopia Sidamo Guji Natural

Ethiopian coffees are remarkably distinct. They have terrific depth of flavour and are characterised by diverse expressions of fruit ranging from acidic citrus to sweet berry.

Sidamo Guji is a dry processed heirloom coffee. The coffee cherries are sun dried on raised beds and raked regularly to ensure the cherries dry uniformly. Dry processing the beans adds complexity and intensity to the coffee and develops the layers of flavour.

This example of Guji is classic Ethiopia. Spicy with bitter sweet chocolate, heaps of berry and a seductive fragrance, it works wonderfully in both traditional and automatic coffee machines.
