Pod coffee machines

The PodThe Spinelli family has been involved in the coffee machine and vending industry since the early 1960s. The experience of the founding generation and the entepeneurship of the modern generation combine to create a dedicated pod machine company which is arguably Italy’s best.

Espressohead is delighted to offer the Spinel Esse Magnum coffee pod machine. The simplicity of design and integrity of construction ensure the Esse produces a wonderful coffee effortlessly and consistently.

The Esse pod coffee machine differs from other pod machines in a number of ways. The control lever is positioned above the coffee infusion group eliminating leakage and the build up of deposits in the machine’s mechanics

The coffee thermo-block and pod infusion group are integrated to maximize thermal stability. The enhanced thermal properties improve extraction and minimize loss of coffee crema. The coffee thermo-block thermostat permits water temperature to be adjusted according to the blend of coffee used in the pod.

The compression closing system of the coffee infusion group allows precise compaction of the coffee pod enhancing extraction.

The coffee and steam groups run on separate circuits. This permits the steam group to be disengaged when not in use which increases the life of the machine and contributes to a saving in energy.

The zinc coated frame eliminates rust and the body is all metal.

Spinel has considered all design variables to produce a coffee pod machine that is extremely well built, simple to maintain and easy to use.

Automatic Coffee Machines

The Automatic

Simonelli commenced operations in 1936. The company has been part of the Italian coffee landscape for decades gaining numerous accolades over its 70 year history. This year the company won further recognition for the quality of its products when it was appointed the official coffee machine supplier to the next three World Barista Championships. Drawing on the company’s rich history and its commitment to design, innovation and technology, Nuova Simonelli has created the Microbar.

The Microbar automatic coffee machine is a wonderful coffee machine with remarkable performance, which produces the best coffee of any machine in its class.
The secret of its performance lies inside.

The brewing group is all metal and electronically heated to ensure thermal stability. The machine can be programmed to firmly tamp and correctly pre-infuse the ground coffee. The materials and design contribute to produce an extraction that is simply not possible from machines made with plastic brewing units. The machine uses twin copper boilers for producing hot water for coffee and steam for milk. The generation of steam is instant and the steam itself is a lot drier than that typically produced with thermo-block style machines. The drier steam means the machine can manufacture better micro froth and the reduced amount of condensation in the milk means a much richer milk flavour.

The grinder can be adjusted micro-metrically to suit any blend and degree of roast. The burrs are titanium coated and the commercial 150 watt motor spins slowly to reduce heat. The grinder blades can be adjusted to a very tight tolerance to maximise extraction.

The Microbar replicates the process used by traditional machines in the way it makes coffee. The coffee is finely ground, firmly tamped, pre-infused and brewed in a metal brewing group to make coffee the way it’s meant to taste.

Super Automatic Coffee machines

The Super Automatic

The Azkoyen group is part of Quality Espresso, the leader in the Spanish food service machinery market. Quality traces its history to 1952 when Gaggia established a presence in Barcelona , soon followed by Faema in 1956. Quality Espresso still operates from the orginal Faema factory and has been integral in the development of the Mediterranean espresso culture.

The Azkoyen Spression is the embodiment of that espresso culture. The Azkoyen engineers have produced a machine that creates and replicates the quality of coffee produced in their traditional machines. The Spression is the culmination of an intensive project that draws on extensive research, development and quality control.
Azkoyen has created a super automatic coffee machine that produces excellent coffee effortlessly and consistently

The brewing group is metal and heated for thermal stability. The one litre coffee boiler and five litre steam boiler are the largest in their class guaranteeing performance and rapid recovery. The machine is cleverly engineered to enable ready access to all parts so as to minimise maintenance times and costs. The modular design allows components to be removed and replaced on site ensuring minimal down time. The Azkoyen Spression satisfies the requirements of very large offices. It is extremely reliable and requires minimal cleaning. Maintenance is simple and with regular servicing there is no need for any scheduled major service. The machine is extremely competitively priced at close to a 30% discount to other super automatic coffee machines with similarly low service costs. And, most importantly, it makes better espresso than any of its competitors.

The Traditional

Traditional Coffee machines make a lot of sense in an office environment. While automatic machines might simplify the making of a cup of coffee, a manual machine is not difficult to operate and will make the best coffee of all. A traditional machine costs 50%- 75% less than the equivalent automatic or super automatic coffee machine, and will cost up to 75% less to service. It is also likely to last more than twice as long as an automatic coffee machine.  As traditional coffee machines use less coffee per cup, there will be an additional saving of up to 20% in the total cost of coffee beans.

Espressohead offers a variety of traditional machines to suit any environment and budget:

Expobar coffee machines

The Expobar range of coffee machines has become synonymous with reliability, quality and affordability. Expobar has stripped away the accoutrements to produce the best value machines available but in no way has it compromised on performance, features or appearance. The Megacrem comes with a fully automatic touch pad with a semi automatic override, E 61 group head, self cleaning cycle on all brewing groups, full metal panels and high group heads to accommodate mugs.

Traditionale coffee machines

The “Traditionale” range from Diamond Services continues the ongoing partnership of quality coffee machines and outstanding service that has defined the Diamond model for over 30 years in Australia. The “  Traditionale” is hand crafted in Italy from quality components and features E 61 brewing groups, raised group heads, a steel chassis with stainless steel panels and extremely robust steam taps. This handsome machine has been designed and assembled to allow ready access to the machines workings and comes with 12 months parts and labour warranty and two scheduled services.

BFC coffee machines

BFC is one of Italy’s premier coffee machine manufacturers. BFC makes coffee machines for a number of coffee companies and is flexible and responsive to the design demands of its customers. BFC has produced a beautiful coffee machine, the Synchro, to reflect the particular characteristics of the Australian market. The machine comes with a digital readout keypad to simplify programming, an elongated heat exchanger and extra large boiler to ensure the machine is one of the most thermally stable coffee machines available. BFC wraps this package in a cutting edge skin so its design is as elegant as its performance.
